ATTENTION SILSOE RESIDENTS!! Have your say now on the future of our roads and transport. Central Beds Council are currently consulting on The Local Transport Plan. This will impact Silsoe so we urge all residents to comment on this plan before the 30th June deadline.
The Local Transport Plan will set the direction of how Central Bedfordshire Council will manage transport in Central Bedfordshire. The Plan will encompass all forms of transport and will include roads and an ‘Infrastructure Delivery Plan’ highlighting what major schemes are needed in the area.
The Parish Council have responded as one of the main issues residents discuss in the village is the volume and speed of traffic, so please take part in the Consultation to have your say and reinforce our village concerns and needs. The Consultation closes on 30th June 2024.
